Starna® - Cylindrical Cells, Short path length Starna Type 31 cells have path lengths 0.01mm to 5mm, with a sample compartment aperture of 14mm. The short path length is achieved by making an external body which is 20mm in length and then fusing into the body another cylinder which will displace the sample in the cell down to the required path length. This allows for the cell to be used in all standard cylindrical cell holders. Each cell has a single stopper which is made of PTFE.
