Starna® - Micro Cells Self Masking with Stopper top
Standared Micro CellsStarna Type 28B Micro cells are for use in situations where the amount of sample volume is limited. The volume of a Micro cell is approximately 20% of an equivalent path length Standard Rectangular cell. The exterior dimensions allow them to be used with virtually every spectrophotometer or photometer instrument.

All Type 28B cells have an exterior height of 48mm, two clear windows and an open top. Window thickness is 1.25mm. PTFE lids are supplied with all path lengths.

To further reduce the volume while retaining the internal width of 2mm cells with thick bases can be used, normally 9mm although 12mm thick bases can also be supplied. The most often requested path length with a thick base is 10mm as shown in the listing, however a thick base can be applied to any Type 28B cell. Please note that cells with a thick base will not suit for instruments which have an 8.5mm 'Z' Dimension.
