Starna^® - Standard Fluorimeter Cells, Screw Cap, with or without septum
The Starna Type 3 cells, exterior dimensions, allow them to be used in virtually every spectrophotometer or photometer instrument. All Type 3 cells have an exterior height of 68mm, four polished windows and base and an open top. Window thickness is 1.25mm. We have added a threaded top with a polymer screw cap for creating a tight seal. There are two types of caps available, septum caps and sealing caps.
Septum cap:
The septum cap screws on the cell holding a silicon rubber septum which is 12.5mm diameter and 2.5mm thick. It allows for multiple penetrations by small bore needles (non-coring). Extra septums are available from stock.

Sealing cap:
This cap is a standard cap with a PTFE lining which seals tightly allowing for use in mixing and storage.
